they taped the whole procedure-- like my kidney being extracted, carried over to him and put inside of him. i can't wait to see what it looks like.
anyway, im still a little tired, but i just wanted to say thank you to everyone who called, e-mailed, commented and visited. thank you so much! both my recipient and i are doing well, and so far, he has not rejected the kidney! :)
anyway, i want to get ready to go home, so ill chat with you all later!!

Wow. In and out in two days! When Jeanne had her transplant, Susie (the donor) was in the hospital for about a week, even though there were no real complications. Of course, that was ten years ago now.
Now, make sure you rest up and recover!
I am so glad everything went well for the both of you. Before my living donors were done testing I received a kidney from an angel who lost her life. You have given an amazing gift. God Bless You!
Wow! Just think, you saved someone's life and in two days, you feel pretty good and are on the way to back to "normal". It is a testimony to what is possible and I hope more people think and act the same way!! God Bless!

Hi Melissa...I am *****'s friend Anthony from the other day (I don't know if putting his name up is ok or not). Anyway, just read your entire blog and I am very happen and fortunate to have met you.
I'm going to send this to a ton of people, but, I look forward to reading how your recovery goes. He is always a bouncy happy person, but when I saw him the other day, he really looked like he was born again.
