I love it, my husband is also a donor. What a thrill to give life to someone else. My husband donated his kidney to a friend in Canada in 2003. My husband is still doing very well, and Mac, the recipient is doing fairly well. I would recommend it to anyone, who has a giving heart, to do. There is no limit to the blessings you receive. Our only negative was that a certain foundation said they would not assist with any financial needs because the recipient lived out of the country, but that's ok, the Lord took care of us.
Blessings again for your gift of love for another person.

That was great, Melissa! Thanks for sharing the link!
Loved the video! What an amazing journey and inspiring story! How much healthier Kris looks, thanks to you Melissa! The story of your generosity will live on forever! Thanks for sharing your feelings!
God Bless You Melissa!
Today I came across the story on NBC and I had to feel the love of people all over again! I donated my kidney on July 9 of this year to my ex-boyfriends uncle. I can honestly say it was painful, but the best pain I could ever feel. I just wish there were less people waiting and more able to live again! Thank you Melissa for being you! Missy in Phoenix
This is great info to know.
